Nate picked up with his pink fairy wand and the tiara of moon-prism. His enchanted purple robe shimmered in the golden light of the bright sun. The sky was a perfect blue, the birds were singing and it seemed like a perfect day.
"Oh, Na~ate" a high, shrill voice called. He sighed. Something with the owner of this voice was ...off. The people of Providence were all kind, nice people who preferred pastell colors and loved to sing happy songs. They greeted each other on the street, they were nice, helpful...and they did not go around and set up lethal traps for leprechauns.
Wade, son of William, was not like the other people. His favorite colors were blood red and pitch black. He didn´t dress in wide robes or at least decent clothes, he either wore a suit of incredibly tight material or a kind of dress he called his "Sailor Death"-cosplay set. It showed a lot of his scarred skin, too much for any normal man.
Since Nate had discovered that he didn´t particularly mind having Wade around, he thought that he couldn´t be entirely normal then either.
Wade came down the hill to Nate´s house, skipping, flowers in one hand and a bloodied knife in the other.
"These are for you!" he declared and gave the flowers to Nate. They were pink and sparkly.
"Good morning, Wade," Nate said smiling. He looked at the knife. "What did you do with that?" he asked. Wade had a brilliant grin on his face.
"I made an instant organ-transplant in the new clinic I opened. It´s called Candy Mountain! You can reach it with a rainbow, there´s glitter and the unicorns will bring you there---and then I will steal your pancreas!"
