Long ago the Avatar disappeared.
When we found him he was trapped in an Iceberg.
Since then we have followed him on his way to mastering
The Four Elements.
With his past he had become an Air Bender.
With my help he has become a Water Bender.
With the help of Toph he has become an Earth Bender.
Now we must seek out a way to help him become a Fire Bender.
As we retreat from Ba Sing Se I realize that the Avatar must learn to overcome his emotional state.
As the Avatar, Aang has many responsiblities.
The Avatar is a master of the four elements.
The Avatar is a bridge between the mortal and spiritual world.
The Avatar is a symbol of complete balance.
For now a 12-year old child must do this to save the Four Nations from destruction.
As a witness to history, I have watched him in defeat.
In times of anger he loses control.
In times of grief he becomes self-centered.
In his vanity arrogance rules him.
In his shame depression and doubt claim him.
In his hate he lays waste to all around him.
But I have also I have watched his triumphs.
In times of kindess his giving knows no bounds.
In his joy he has openned himself to the possiblities.
In his times of being humble he has learned.
In his confidence he succeeds where others have failed.
In his love his creations are an undying testemony of hope.
Destiny has saught to break him; in hopes that he finds balance.
Fate has torn him ashunder; in hopes that he finds strength.
His past has been torn from him; in hopes that its remains may teach him.
His present tetters on a fine razor; in hopes that he will remain vigilant
His future has become dark; in hopes that he will become its light.
