Wade sighed. It was always an "experience" to team-up with Nate Summers who preferred to be called "Priscilla" for some odd reason.

Wade never understood the so called "Mind-Whammy Messiah", but then, no one did.
An accident in his childhood gave Nate strange powers which included telekinesis, telepathy and more skills in that area, but they also messed with his sanity and basically flushed it down the toilet.

Nate was known as a trigger-happy super-powered menace with a slightly murderous streak, love for violence and strangely some TV show about old people.

Wade was proud to be different from this ...man.
He was a world class athlete and weapons-expert which expertise and experience were acknowledged and respected all over the world.
Wade also worked as a mercenary and those sadly necessary team-ups like this here with Nate were the only downpart to his career.

His healing factor (courtesy of Weapon X) made sure that he wouldn´t get out of shape and never became sick. He was in perfect health - except for the cancer but that didn´t matter - and would stay in his peak condition for a very long time. His work provided him with lots of income, connections to nearly every important organisation on earth (which did not include the Olsen-Twins-Fanclub of Canada as he once again informed his partner)and he maintained a good reputation by performing his tasks discreetly and without flaws.

Sadly, some jobs were not entirely suited for a man of his caliber and he had to resort to "other measures".
"Other Measures" translated to "possibly dangerous, X-Men reject, telepath" named Pris- Nathan Summers.

"Let´s go over the plan again. Are you listening, Nate?"
"Look, shiiiiiiiny..." Nate replied, waving his metal arm through the air.
Wade´s research had not given him satisfying answers as to what exactly this T.O-Mesh was that was a part of Nate´s body. Nate described it as "Japansese anime metal cyborg kink thingy" and Wade hadn´t had enough time to determine what exactly that meant.

Wade´s intelligence and deductive abilities had solved countless cases and mysteries, but why exactly he happened to be in love with this nutjob exceeded him.
Maybe it was the kindness that Nate only showed to him.
Maybe it was the fact that Nate actually had a quite interesting brain in that thick skull of his.
Maybe it was for his warm hands, his smile and that he could made Wade laugh
Maybe it was that he had risked his live to save nearly-invincible Wade, had declared his love when he thought that he´d been dying and this had been his last chance...but it wasn´t, there had been huge embarassment afterwards and an awkward "I love you, too".

Nate wrapped a muscular T.O arm around Wade and dipped him into a kiss.
"For luck," he explained and set out to conquer the Hydra Base.
Wade followed him.
Sanity was overrated anyway.
