It was funny, almost ironic, Tigerstar thinks, as he stares down at the bloody bodies surrounding him, then at the one who had betrayed him (although, technically, Tigerstar shouldn't have made an agreement with one who dealt in blood), how his plans never exactly turned out the way he wanted.

It was supposed to be Firestar who was bleeding from the numerous wounds, not him. He supposed to live to rule over all of the Clans, and to unite them into one, TigerClan. Home of the ruthless, brutal, and strong.

And yet, it was him who was in this position, not that stupid little kittypet Firestar, and that equally moronic leader Scourge (why didn't he bow down to the superior one, Tigerstar?!)who was clawing him open, spilling his blood, tearing his lives from him...

But, no matter. This was why he always had a backup plan, specifically, the rogue she-cat he had just mated with. And, also, Goldenflower. Sweet, sweet Goldenflower.

They both should've given birth by now…

As it was, all he could do was vaguely wonder what had happened to his offspring. How he could have used them, in his grand plan. (And what a brilliant plan it had been!)

The blood loss begins to have an effect on him, and his memories flashed before his eyes. His early life as a kit, seeing the mighty warriors of ShadowClan. Then, speeding up to his apprenticeship, training with Thistleclaw. Next, his life as a warrior, plotting the takeover of the forest. And finally, to now.

His last life is fading from him, Tigerstar knows, and he sees a tunnel of blackness before him; Brokentail , and other dark spirits calling to him. He knows he will not go to StarClan, so he summons up the courage that has kept him alive for so long, and pads into the tunnel.

As he fades from the world of the living, Tigerstar sees Firestar, that smug idiot, glancing at his body. He sees a flash of relief in those leaf green eyes. That treacherous leader of BloodClan, Scourge is standing triumphantly over his limp body. Tigerstar wants to yowl in fury; all his plans have failed!

He is only vaguely aware of Firestar and Scourge battling it out; to find out the result of what now seems like a insignificant skirmish.

But, as he listens to the dark spirits guiding him into the dark afterlife, The Place of No Stars, a slow, deadly smirk plays over his face.

His legacy will live on!

Haven't updated in a while. I am pleased to announce my existence, once more.

This, here, is my (kinda) sad attempt to write Tigerstar's last moments in the land of the living. I now, kind of random, but as I was reading over the fanfics of other people, I suddenly felt the urge to write something angsty. And, since I knew the most of Warriors

Well, the rest is history. Tell me what you think!
