She didn't quite know what she was looking for. Singing tea cups and candle sticks maybe. She hadn't told the gossiping girls her secret, instead she went straight to bed.
Which wasn't the smartest idea, she supposed. The sooner you go to sleep the sooner you wake up, and now she was wide awake in the middle of the night, in her cabin that was somewhere in the middle of a flying ship ( which she was still hyperventilating over) that was hosting the three day ball.
Whatever she was looking for it wasn't what she found.
She happened upon a room with an incredibly big window which was bad enough since she'd been avoiding windows since this thing had taken off into the sky. Looking out said window was her Prince. She'd know those curls anywhere.
Slowly, she walked up behind him. And just as slowly he turned and saw her.
He looked shocked. She could only imagine how she looked having just stepped out of bed. She probably looked angry, or hurt, she was certainly feeling both.
Just as she was about to step away and go back to bed before she said something dumb, or worse, he said something along the lines of "I danced with the most beautiful woman in the world tonight, and it wasn't you", the ship lurched and so did she, and she landed right into his waiting arms.
Fabulous.
