"Emil, something's wrong. What's going on with all the monsters?" I asked. "I don't know. They're going on a rampage" Yuan said as he entered. "Exactly but why?"I asked. I looked at Emil. "Let's go down to Marta and them. Maybe they can shed light on it for us" He said. I followed him and Yuan out.
After Emil took over as Ratatosk, Lord of all Monsters, I've gone under as his apprentice. I'm Sakura. I'm an angel that had been plotting against Mithos during Colette's world regeneration. I never ran into them during their journey but I saw them fight Mithos, Kratos, and Martel. I felt bad for Martel. Mithos was trying to keep her here out of selfish reasons and it drove me crazy. But I never found a way to do anything about it.
We came out at the Otherwordly Gate. It was the Gate of the Ginnungagape to some people. To me, it was just a warp in between some rocks that led to where Ratatosk and Yuan stayed. Not too surprising, but Raine was there with Genis. "But Raine. We've been here for 3 days now. Don't you think we collected enough samples?"
"no, there is still more to get. Go swab that rock." Genis went over to the rock reluctantly. He obviously didn't like ruins as much as his sister. Genis and Raine are half-elves. When they were little, Raine and Genis were left at the otherworldly gate to travel from Tethe'alla to Sylvarant. "Raine" Emil said. They both looked in our direction. "Emil. Sakura. Yuan. Hi" Genis said running over. I gave him a hug. "What brings you three here?," Raine asked. "The monsters. They…they aren't behaving the way they should be" I tried to explain. I don't think I did a very good job though. Especially since Yuan clarified about it left my mouth.
"The monsters are using too much mana. And they are attacking for no reason."
"And all the centerians are hatched. No one's in dormant" Email added. I nodded. "I can even feel it so either I'm warming up to my powers as Emil's apprentice or they are being really bad. Otherwise I wouldn't feel it." Genis laughed a bit before Raine hit him. "How can we help?" she asked.
"Right now we want to find Marta. Tenebrae's still with her and Marta around isn't such a bad thing" Emil said. "Right!" I felt the need to yell out.
"Last I saw Marta…was…umm….I don't remember" Genis said.
"And Genis saw her more recently than I did. But if it's any help, about a month ago, her and Tenebrae were going around and making sure no damage had been made to the centurions and summon spirits temples. I saw then at the Temple of Earth while I was with Sheena" Raine informed us. "So where do we start?" Yuan asked. He was clearly frustrated. I pulled my wings out and flew up a bit. I got up high enough and looked out. There was nothing, like, literally nothing. I floated back down. "There's nothing up there. But why don't we go talk to Comander Brute? He is Marta's father. He should know where Marta is, right?" I said. Yuan and Emil exchanged glances. Clearly, I was the smartest one here currently. "That's a good plan. We'll start there" Yuan said.
"Thank you Raine and Genis" Emil said.
"Glad we could help"
"Tell Marta that I have that bead for her. She had broken her bracelet and lost a bead" Genis said up to us. Me, Yuan, and Emil had started flying up to go to the Vanguard's main base. I nodded down to him and then followed Emil.
