Clear watched Aoba - his Aoba- sleep from the other side of the room. He wasn't actually sure Aoba was asleep; he couldn't tell much anymore about how Aoba was since he'd removed his eyes and vocal cords. He couldn't help but watch the blue haired man sleep, just watching as his chest rose and fell relaxedly. Clear walked over and sat down next to Aoba, gently brushing his hair off his face. He felt him flinch slightly at the touch. So he was awake after all.

"Good morning Aoba-san." he whispered.

Aoba didn't reply. He couldn't. After all, how would he be able to talk without his vocal chords? Shifting slightly, he carefully picked up the blue haired man, holding him gently. Clear could feel how Aoba relaxed under his touch after a minute, carefully shifting so he could lay his head on the white haired man's shoulder.

"Aoba-san, can you smile for me?" Clear asked, turning said man's face toward him calmly.

Aoba gave the other man what was supposed to be a confused look but with his face half-covered it was difficult to do. For the first time in a while he wished he could still talk to Clear. Noticing his dilemma, Clear chuckled quietly.

"I miss your smile Aoba-san." he explained. "Just once, smile for me."

It took him a moment to realize what was going on. Then, right as Clear was worried he wouldn't, he smiled. Clear smiled.

"I love you Aoba-san" he whispered, looking at the smile he'd missed so much.

I love you too Clear. Aoba mouthed, wanting to tell him how he felt. I love you.
