A/N: This is my first story for FF, yay!
I would appreciate some reviews on how my writing is throughout the story OR how the story is, in general. I'm fairly rusty with my writing skills.
Another thing, this story has some weird elements. Such as insane explanations for certain game series, etc.,etc.,etc.

Ah... The Smash Mansion. It's as busy as always; fighters running back and forth match to match. People who aren't in matches chattering away. Though today seemed busier than others, I wonder what could be happening around the mansion...

Why, it's November, of course! It's halfway in and hardly half of the ingredients for Thanksgiving are ready! Feeding over 30 people is hard, you know! Everyone who wasn't chatting were heading out of the mansion to the city for supplies. The kids, however, decided they weren't going out for thanksgiving. Almost all of them didn't know what it was, anyways.

"C'mon, Ness! Tell us what it is! Please please please!" Was a slightly high pitched boy's voice, coming from the green clothed Toon Link.
Ness just rolled his eyes and sighed, "What WHAT is, for the last time, Toon?" He asked slightly annoyed at the hyperactive swordsman.
Toon put his face into a pout and crossed his arms, "What this...Thanks...Giving is!"

Ness paused his game for a moment and looked at him as well as raising a brow, "Y'mean you don't know?"
Toon sighed louder than he intended but pointed at the ice climber twins and Lucas. All three were sitting on the couch eating ice cream until they were pointed at.
After which he crossed his arms once more, "NONE of us but you know, Ness..."
Ness coughed from embarrassment, "W...Well... Thanksgiving is when we have a big feast because of these foreigners who went to Eagleland and were taught by the Indians how to... Uhh... I forget... I didn't pay much attention in class..."Ness rubbed his chin, "But in the end they were like best buds and had a big feast of turkey and corn and stuff!" He proudly smiled.

Toon blinked a couple of times, "That's weird... But it sounds delicious!" he grinned.

The other three were listening in on the conversation to know what it was, too... "Oh wow! That's why everyone's been going out all the time!" Popo said, "AND why not many matches have been happening for us!" Nana added in.
Lucas was in his own daydreaming about the information until Nana elbowed him lightly, "O-Oh! Right, yeah..."

Nana rolled her eyes. She didn't care much for the food part of the holiday, then this question came to mind, "Then...why is it called thanksgiving?"

Ness thought about this for a moment, "Oh, that's because the foreigners were thankful that they could make peace with the Indians and that they could have that feast! Now, who's up for some street fighter?" three of the four hands flew up.
