1-Friendship
Hawkins never grew to close to person. Although he cared deeply for his crew members, he still had not told them a single secret or gave them a passing smile. All changed when he met up with X Drake and practically spilled his guts out to the man.
2-Blink
Drake knew Hawkins wasn't like the other pirates. Especially when he'd noticed that the blonde had been staring at him for five minutes straight. Without blinking.
3- Voodoo
Hawkins chuckled as he heard yet another yelp from the kitchen. He poked a second needle in the straw doll's arm. "Ouch!" He supposed he was being rather cruel, and so he kissed the doll lovingly on its face. He wasn't surprised when Drake came into his room holding his hand protectively and blushing.
4-Owl
The ex-admiral found it harder and harder everyday to resist the thought of his boyfriend hooting at him randomly. Not that the fact that Hawkins always perched his chin against his shoulder after they made love helped the situation.
5-Gypsey
Basil did not appreciate when Drake would use the term, "Gypsy" as a nickname for him.
6-Hair
"Basil?"
"Yes?"
"Why are there locks of human hair in my bed?"
"I'm using it."
"For wha-," Drake stopped himself midsentence and re-thought his action. Did he really want to know?
7- Eyes
Although many of Hawkins's subordinates wanted to see his eyes up close, (to see if they were actually as crimson as they looked from afar), Basil denied all the requests. For only Drake was allowed to be close enough to him to see.
8-Meeting
Drake found it all very awkward at first as he talked to a man that could predict his death. But, he soon later found out that he was also the man that could tell him his true love.
Fortunately his soul mate was sitting in the bar stool next to him, drinking the fanciest wine the pub could offer.
9-Boxers
The blonde supernova found it very amusing when his boyfriend got redressed after their lovemaking. Because watching the pirate groan as he searched around the room, stark naked, for his pair of dinosaur boxers was one of the few things that made Hawkins smile.
10-Dirty thoughts
Basil had handed him a small doll made out of straw as a present one day. "It has my hair in it." He explained to Drake as he wondered why he had received such an odd gift. Did his lover want him to stick needles in him? "Voodoo dolls aren't just used for torture and manipulation." Hawkins then leaned down towards Drake's ear and whispered huskily, "They can feel pleasure as well" Oh the dirty thoughts that had been crossing Drake's mind as he heard those last words. Neither of them would be getting any sleep that night.
