Everything was going according to plan. She and Sollux had met up with the humans. They had made it to the meteor. The last guest had arrived. She had done everything she was supposed to. There was only one thing left to do.
She looked towards Sollux, he was talking with Karkat. When he caught her stare, he looked down, knowing what was coming.
"I think it's time we got going," She said, smiling at the group. "Noir could catch up to us anytime soon."
"I agree," Rose interjected, "We shouldn't waste our time lying about."
She looked at Sollux again, with a sad sort of smile. "Shall we, Sollux?" He nodded, looking grim.
"WHOA! What the fuck? You're not staying?" Karkat glared at Sollux, angry that his best friend was abandoning him again.
"Of course KK, how else do you think you're going to get out of here? You need my awesome powers to help you along, because you're obviously too useless to do it alone," He smirked at him, knowing he was just pissing him off.
"Yea? Well why the fuck can't you just stay on the meteor while doing that? You did it before."
"And looked how that turned out." Karkat shuddered, remembering the bloody mess Solluxs body was reduced to. "Besides, it'd be much easier pushing it from behind instead of on."
Karkat looked down, he didn't want Sollux to leave again, he would be pretty much on his own on this rock.
"'Sides, we'll see each other again anyway," He looked up, slightly hopeful, wondering what he was getting at.
Sollux smiled, "Me and AA will meet up with you once you get to where you're going, right AA?" She looked over again, knowing full well what he was doing. "Of course, there's no need to get upset Karkat." She smiled again, trying to convince him.
"Oh yea? What about Jack? I doubt you'll be able to outrun him on foot, or float, What the fuck ever, what about him, huh?"
"Geez calm down, He'll be too busy chasing you guys to even consider coming for us, so calm your shit and let us get on with this."
Karkat looked down once again, thinking it over. "Fine," He said, finally "But you better fucking be there waiting when we arrive fuckass, or else I'll fucking kill you."
"Ehehehe you got it KK." He smiled again, looking to Aradia. "So, shall we?"
"Of course." They floated a little ways off, before sending out a mass amount of psychic energy, sending the meteor flying off in the right direction.
Sollux watched, he could see Karkat, getting smaller and smaller, till he could barely see the meteor anymore. Then he looked over to aradia, holding out his hand. She grasped his hand, smiling slightly, meeting his gaze.
"See you soon, AA."
"Yea, see you, Sollux."
When she looked forward again, Jack was there. He looked up, seeing the meteor soaring away, in flashes of red and yellow, before turning his glare at the duo.
"Sorry KK, looks like I'm going to disappoint you again."
"Goodbye, everyone."
Those were the last words Aradia heard, then, all there was, was excruciating pain, then nothing but black.
