Hey guys! :)

I wrote this on New Years Eve when I was bored but somehow forgot about it. So well... pretty late but: Happy New Year! Oh and good news for the readers of Love Letter To Canada: I'll probably update tomorrow or Sunday ;)

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...

And the fireworks went off.

But I didn't care about them as I turned around to Jade.

"Happy new years, Jade!" I crashed my lips against hers and hugged her tightly. "Happy new year Beck" she whispered so only I could hear it.

We were standing on a snowy hill in Canada where Jade and I, friends and my family spent New Years Eve. It was pretty cold out here causing Jade to shiver and snuggle up against me as we watched the fireworks go off in the sky.

After a while I had the feeling that Jade was nearly asleep against me so she surprised me when she spoke up: "You know... I'm looking forward to this year. We'll graduate you and I are back together..." she trailed off.

"I know babe, we'll have an awesome year" I tightened my arms around her and kissed her hair softly. It was a few minutes later when we decided we should probably go back inside seeing that the others had been going inside already.

As soon we entered the living room and heard the song that was playing Jade got out of her tired trance and dragged me to the others onto the dance floor.

It was the song that played when we first went out together. Maybe that was a sign but I couldn't really think that much of it because Jade pressed her body against mine while she danced. And with that my mind got cleared and I just danced, letting myself feel the beat.

All the adults around us were getting more and more drinks but my parents forbid Jade and me to drink any more than one glass of Champaign when we were counting down, waiting for the new year to arrive.

But Jade against my body had probably the same effect on me as alcohol.

When we were both panting hard we decided to take a break and got ourselves something to eat. We found a quiet corner and I put my arm around her and she leaned into my side, sighing contently.

The party went on for another few hours and Jade and I danced pretty much that night earning the others attention. Yeah, the dance training for musicals at HA paid off.

And later that night when we got into our room we finally had the time to celebrate BeckandJade style...
