Hey everyone. This is another story that I have written for The Return of the Chocolate Frog Cards. I choose to write for (Bronze) Ptolemy. The task was to reference any canonical Chocolate Frog Cards in my story. I think I've got quite a few references to canonoical Chocolate Frog Cards in this story. I hope you all enjoy Chocolate Frog Cards.
"I've got Alberta Toothill," Susan said turning to me. "Do want to trade your Professor Dippet for her?"
I looked between the two two cards and shook my head. "No thank you," I said looking at my collection of Chocolate Frog Cards. "But I will trade you a Bridget Wenlock for your Alberta Toothill."
Susan looked at her cards thoughtfully for a few seconds. She looked up and then nodded. "Alright," she said holding out the card towards me.
Taking the card I handed over one of my Bridget Wenlock card. I had about four of them until now.
"Are you guys trading cards?" asked Ernie joining us in our cozy corner of the world.
We both nodded.
"Who wants to trade for Burdock Muldoon?" I asked holding up the card of the Chief of Wizard's Council.
Ernie and Susan both studied their cards before Ernie nodded.
"I'll trade you Celestina Warbeck for Burdock Muldoon," he said with air of finality.
I nodded hand over my card and taking his.
It was then that Professor Sprout walked into the Common Room trying not let any of know anything was wrong. But you could tell by the tension in her shoulders that something was going on.
"Gather your things for the night," she told the whole Common room. "Everyone will be staying in the Great Hall for the Night Sirius Black is inside the castle."
We gather our cards to ourselves. Susan and I heading towards the girls dorms while Ernie headed towards the boys ones. If Sirius Black was in the castle why were they ushering us all into one place. Wouldn't that make us easier targets.
"Hannah," Susan said worriedly, "won't that make us practically sitting ducks?"
I nodded. "It would," I told her. "But we should do as we're told. Why don't we bring the cards and we can trade some more until bedtime?"
She nodded excitedly as we gather our belonging and went to the Great Hall. It was going to be a long night.
I hope you all enjoyed Chocolate Frog Cards. It's short and sweet and to the point. It's also written in the point of view of someone I haven't written for before. That being Hannah Abbott. I hope I wrote her right and did her justice.
