Footsies

Dana was not happy. Not one bit. Of course, Zoey and she were friends and Chase was a nice guy after all. She was fine with working with them on her history project. And her crush Jay was sitting across from her, which was a major joy rush. But the fifth person at their table in the PCA library made her want to gag. For sitting next to Chase was Logan, her least favorite person in the whole school.

The smug look he wore on his face tempted her to deck him. If it hadn't been for her threats to cause him bodily harm, he wouldn't have been there in the first place. She told him that no way was she letting him get off without having to do his share of the work. Of course, he wasn't being a help at all. Just sitting there, smirking.

All of a sudden, Dana felt something brush her sneaker. Her pulse rose when she realized it was Jay's foot. She looked up and smiled at him before slipping off her shoe. She could clearly feel his foot through the thin material of her blue and white star-patterned socks. God, she was really getting into this.

She wasn't even listening to what Zoey was saying. Something about having a science paper due and having to leave early. Chase said he would walk her to her dorm. Typical Chase; falling all over himself for Zoey.

Jay said something about soccer practice and let too. It took Dana a minute to realize that she still felt something on her foot. With horror she looked under the table and realized she'd been playing footsies with Logan. She couldn't suppress a scream of shock and everyone around her turned to look at her.

"Oh God, I have to go boil my foot and burn these socks! If you ever put any part of your body on me again, I will kill you!"

Logan didn't bother hiding his amusement as he laughed while watching her dash out of the library.

A/N: Bah, that sucked. But what can I say, I love Lana. Feel free to let me know how much it sucked by leaving me a review.
