disclaimer: I don't own Chicago fire nor house m.d!

suddenly, the er at the hospital were Allison Cameron had nearly finished her shift, was breaking loose. slowly she put down her bag again, ready tohelp the victims of the fire in the large apartmentbuilding she had heard about but had heard that the victims had been taken to another hospital. before she could thinkabout it any longer, she signed back in and ran towards one of the gurneys which was brought in. on the gurney was a young girl and a lump fillled Cameron's throath when she saw the burns on the girls legs. without thinking twice, she started to help and comfort the girl, fulfilling her job as a doctor.

one hour later she sat down on a chair with a deep sigh. the last few weeks had been exhausting. there was the divorce, which was very painful as her husband had gotten the right of caring for their daughter due to Allison's demanding job. she would still see Christina in the weekends when she didn't have a shift but it felt awful not being able to bring her to bed every night. what would have happeNed if she and Robert had had kids? she shook her head, throwing Robert Chase out of thoughts again. somebody called her name, asking her to help. she jumped up, pacing towards gurney, immediately aware that it was a firefighter due to the yellow stripes on his black pants.

when she reached the gurney it weren't the burns on his face that got her attention but the face itself. it couldn't be.

"Chase?"

although the firefighters were closed she could only imagine them being bright blue. but Robert was a doctor, not a firefighter. her knees hit the floor while she heard the paramedic say: "his name is Casey, not Chase."

but why did he look like Robert?

why did she leave Robert?

"cameron?"

she looked up to her co-worker.

"Cameron? are you okay?"

" I - i don't know honestly"

...

I suddenly remebered that Cameron moved to Chicagoafter she left Princeton and it ended up in this idea. sorry a lot of capitals are missing and there are a lot of grammar mistakes but I have written this on my phone on the way back from my trip. tomorrow I will be back with my beloved pc and keyboard!

i know it is very short, but I hope you like it, because it will be longer then! please leave review if you are you interested!
