A/N: This takes directly after the original ending of my first fanfic, A Valentine's Day Carol.

Ash and Serena were at Route 12, Luvdisc fishing as their first date.

"Ashy! I caught another one!" Serena chirped, as she landed a Luvdisc.

"Me too!" Ash replied. "These Inkay are really useful, aren't they?"

"I know, right? The suction cups ability ensures we get a bite every time!" Serena explained.

Ash and Serena were throwing the Luvdisc back after they had hooked them.

"Let's cuddle, Serena." Ash requested.

"Okay!" Serena was enthusiastic about this. "Just be careful not to break the chain."

Serena rested her head on Ash's shoulder.

"Oh! Caught another one!" Serena remarked.

"Great!" Ash said.

Serena threw the non-shiny back into the water.

"Can I feed you some Macaroons?" Serena asked.

"Sure! Thanks, babe." Ash replied.

Serena popped a Macaroon into Ash's mouth.

"How much does the chances of finding a shiny go up when we do this?" Ash asked.

"It's not on Bulbapedia, since no one's managed to hack X and Y yet." Serena answered.

"Wow, props to Game Freak." Ash remarked. "Just landed another one!"

"We should be pretty close to a shiny by now!" Serena said.

Ash let the water type swim away.

"Ashy, I love you so much." Serena cooed.

"I love you too." Ash cooed back.

"Tell me how much." Serena said, flirtaciously.

"It's like you used attract on me." Ash said.

"Awww… Tell me more- Oh, just got another bite!"

Serena released the rendezvous Pokémon back into the wild.

"Where were we?" Serena asked.

"It's like you used attract on me." Ash repeated.

"Oh yeah!" Serena said.

"You are as radiant as Volcarona, as beautiful as Milotic, and as light as a Flabébé." Ash continued.

"Awww…" Serena awwed.

"And most of all, you- oh, got another one!" Ash exclaimed.

"It's a shiny!" Serena was in awe.

Ash caught it using a dive ball.

"What are you gonna nickname it?" Serena asked.

"I'll name it Serena, after you." Ash answered.

"Do you think I'm as special as a shiny?" Serena asked.

"Serena, you are as special as a shiny Pokémon that has contracted Pokérus and has 6 31 IV's." Ash said.

"Awww… You're one in eighty quadrillion as well, Ashy."

Ash and Serena French kissed as the sun set.

And all was well.
