I had a little Marvel Movie marathon this weekend. I ended with Thor: The Dark World. I've herd and read people criticizing the movie, but personally I thought it was ok. Not at the level of The Avengers or some of the other Marvel movies but still fun.
What I found funny was Thor's jealousy while Jane was talking with her lunch date Richard on the phone and when movie ended and there was no reappearance of Jane's beau.
And so this short little one shot popped into my head and I decided to write it down and share it with you.
Who's Richard?
Jane had a smile painted on her face as she sat at the kitchen table in her London apartment wearing only a shirt and panties. Several hours have passed since Thor returned from Asgard to her and she wasted no time kicking Darcy, Ian and Eric out so she and Thor could have some alone time.
She could hear the shower running where Thor was refreshing. She couldn't help but let out a slow giggle picturing how he was lying on top of her earlier, gently stroking her hair and staring into her eyes while they made love.
A doorbell brought her out of her reverie and without realizing she wasn't dressed properly she went to open it and saw Richard standing there with flowers in his hand.
"Hello Jane." Richard started but he stammered and blushed as he saw that Jane was barely wearing anything.
"Richard. Hi. What are you doing here?" Jane said as she tried to partially hide behind her door.
"Ah, sorry to just pop over but I couldn't get through to you on the phone for the last two days and we never settled on when you want to go to dinner." Richard said and then he extended flowers he held out to Jane. "Oh and these are for you."
Jane reluctantly reached out and took them. She brought them closer to her so she could smell them. "These are lovely. Thank you." She let out a small sigh. "Look Richard, you're a wonderful person and I'm sorry I forgot to call you, but I just got back together with my ..." Jane struggled to find a word to describe Thor. Boyfriend didn't seem to cut it.
At that point she realized that she couldn't hear the shower running anymore. She noticed that Richard was staring past her and she turned slowly to see Thor standing in her living room still glistening from the shower with nothing but a towel over his private parts staring at them. He was a sight to see and Jane felt herself growing excited, she found herself biting her lower lip.
Thor walked up behind her and extended a hand to Richard."Hello. I am Thor." Richard took his hand looking up at the Asgardian "Uhm, Richard. Nice to meet you."
Thor shook his hand, smiled at Jane and retreated back to the apartment. Jane watched him leave admiring his backside when she remembered Richard, she looked at him and smiled "Sorry, Richard." Richard just shook his head. "It's ok Jane. Goodbye."
"Bye." Jane called after him as she was closing the door. She walked inside still holding the flowers Richard gave her to see Thor sitting at her table still naked except the towel.
"So..." He started "Who's Richard?" Jane just laughed out loud, put the flowers on the table and climbed on the God of Thunders lap.
