They were as different as anyone could be.

She loved life: the buzz of chatter and blooming of plants.

He loved destruction: the chasing of swords and spilling of blood.

She gets excited with every little thing. Very rare to see her sitting quietly, unless she was reading.

He was easily bored. Nothing really held his attention long enough to spark interest unless it was a good fight.

She was a splash of colors. A rich brown, green, and pastels.

He was a mundane white. Cold gold with splashes of red at times.

She saw the world in bright lights and interesting breezes.

He saw the world in an endless fog. The rain frustrating him.

How these two contrasting beings came together was a mystery. A question to everyone but themselves.

She loved watching him be confused. A genuine smile was all and good. However, seeing him fluster at certain little things and not know what to do with himself, to peer at her in silent help, was an enjoyment.

He loved how she took shit from no one. Always silencing a bully with a sarcastic remark or, to his pleasure, a fist to the face.

She loved how he actually tried. When she asked him to try something, he did it willingly unlike most, who would just give her the look. Though mostly he'd end up angry or bored, the few times he'd have such silly glee.

He loved her acceptance. How she let him rest his head in her lap and run delicate fingers through his messy tresses. Even though, he just finished massacring a hoard of beast minutes before, while others gazed at him in hypocritical fear and disdain. There were times where she would bluntly tell him to bath because he stank but that was obvious.

Life held an opposing view for the two; once in awhile, they butted head. However, they liked the way they collided. Their worlds mixing to new ones.
