Cold, that was the ugly feeling that had been captivating his heart lately, Keisuke slept beside him, sprawled out on the ground and snoring loudly, Akira shook his head, the goofball was sure to get himself killed out here, He didn't want to imagine how, but he couldn't help but let his mind wander, he wanted protect him, he did, but Akira was afraid that he couldn't.
He shook off the thought and let his eyes wander over to the blonde boy sitting against the graffited wall, his eyes glanced out over the land, his knees brought up to chest, his palms resting on them. Curiosity bit at Akira, he couldn't sleep anyways. He sat up and walked over to Rin, and sat beside him.
"Akira! You're up awfully early." The blonde acknowlaged with bright eyes.
Akira hummed a small reply and turned his attention on the sights before him.
"Why're you up?" He asked Rin, who merely laughed lightly.
"I never sleep anymore, I like the quiet, you can only hear the bugs at night you see." Akira gave a small smile when the boy's gaze left his once more.
"Me either, I can't sleep much." The boy nodded.
"Keisuke?" Akira said nothing, his eyes suddenly felt very heavy.
"If you want, you can lay your head on my shoulder." Rin offered, Akira was about to decline but..he was really tired, he did just that, laying his head on the smaller boy's shoulder, closing his eyes.
Rin in return, laid his head against Akira's, his own body feeling very exhausted from the day's events.
It wasn't long until Rin heard snoring coming from his partner, he smiled softly.
"Goodnight, Akira-kun," he then turned his head and pressed a soft kiss into his hair, then Rin laid his head back against Akira's, his body beginning to find an odd comfort of which he'd never experianced before.
