Mother and Son: How it began

It was a lovely summer day in Metropolis, the sky was blue, the grass was green, and a robot was destroying downtown. Wait what! Forget lovely, down town is down, but this attack doesn't go unnoticed, well du, on the top floor of the Daily Global two reporters stand looking out at the disaster.

"Stay here", said the reporter better known as Clark Kent.

"Don't worry Clark, I'll stay right here," the other reporter known to most as Lois Lane.

"I mean it Lois, do not leave this building," he told her one last time before giving her a kiss on the cheek and running toward the stairs.

"I don't plan to," she said as she made her way to the roof.

Not too far away stands a young man known as Conner Kent, better known as Superboy.

"Hey it's me, need a hand?" He said to his com.

"Yes, get down here and help get the civilians to safety I'll take care of the robot." Clark Kent although right now Superman told his son.

"Got it, on my way," Superboy told him as he jumped in the super cycle.

Back in Metropolis, as Superman and Superboy protected the people of their city, on the roof of the Daily Global stood Lois Lane with her notebook and camera unaware of the robot coming from behind the building. All of a sudden the building began to crumble; she turned around and saw the robot falling on it. She tried to run but before she got the chance she fell off the building.

"Lois!" Superman said in a whisper.

"I got her," Superboy said as he raced in on the super cycle to catch her.

"Superboy wait," he yelled after him but was unable to stop him, "This will not end well."

Conner raced over to save and did. Lois, expecting to see Superman, was surprised to see a boy who looked around sixteen breaking her fall. As Superboy took Lois to safety Superman defeated the robot, but was aware of the even harder challenge to come.

He flew over to a building on the other side of town where he saw Conner and Lois.

"Lois are you okay?" Clark asked his fiancé.

"I'm fine but I have some questions for you," she told him, "Who is he, why is he here, is he your son, why did you never tell me you had a son, who is his mother, is it that red headed girl you dated in high school?" She asked him rapidly.

"Lois if you just let me explain," Clark started.

"Did I miss something," Conner asked staring confusingly at the two in front of him.

"Conner this is Lois Lane, my fiancée," Clark told him.

"Yep, I defiantly missed something," he began, "Well look at the time, I should probably be going, uhh bye." And quicker than a flash (no pun intended) he was in the Super Cycle and gone.

Once he left, Clark turned to face Lois.

"Well I'm waiting," she said somewhat annoyed by the situation.

After a long conversation explaining how Conner came to be Lois spoke once more.

"So he is your clone, who you ignored for about seven months even though you knew he needed his father," she said.

"Little brother actually, we're talking it slow working are way up to a father son relationship," he informed her.

"Well, I'm guessing he is going to need a mother figure around, so as your future wife he will be my son so I guess I'll do it," she said smiling.

"Are you sure Lois?" Clark asked her.

"I'm sure, although I'm still mad at you for keeping this from me for five years," she told him.

"And for that I am truly sorry," he said.

"Well apology accepted, now how about I get to know my new son," she said once more smiling at the idea of being a mother.

And here starts the making of a beautiful relationship between a mother and a son.
