The Fortree City, the beauty city rounded by trees, was calm because now the Feather Carnival was over. Today was Winona's birthday, the Gym's Leader from Fortree City, of Flying-type Pokemons.
Winona, the woman of long and lilac hair was washing her Gym to pass time, upon her Shiny Swellow, dressing a long and beige skirt. Some trainers had came to battle with her and Sapphire, Ruby, Flannery, Roxanne, Wattson, Brawnly, Tate and Liza had called her that morning to say Happy Birthday to her.
She'd smiled a lot because of their calls, but she'd been a little sad too because one person hadn't called, the most important. Where was Wallace?
She was cleaning the highest window, lost in her own thoughts. It wasn't just Wallace that was worrying her: She was now 25 years old. Most women in her age would be thinking in find a husband, build a family. She looked at her face on the window. She hadn't changed much in the last 5 years. She looked mature and adult but at the same time, young and scared.
"One day, you'll marry someone Winona." Winona thought.
"Probably it won't be Wallace." She thought sadly.
They'd had their time 5 years ago, before the final battle against Kyogre and Groudon. Too many comes and goes. She wasn't the same girl that she had been, anxious for her first date in his air car. No, she was a mature and independent woman with responsibilities as a Gym Leader.
"I still love him, I can't deny it. But he's always with his fan girls…"
She finished cleaning the window with a sigh and got down, thinking about making a cup of coffee when someone entered her Gym.
"Wallace? What are you doing here?"
She was surprise. The man of blue eyes and hair walked to her, smiling.
"It's oblivious, today is your birthday darling." He replied, gently.
"You know that the Luvdisc knows who is your true love, darling?" Wallace thought.
"And it's you darling." He said aloud.
"Hum?"
Wallace called Elizabeth, his Luvdisc. Elizabeth made a lot of bubbles in heart's format appear around the couple. Winona smiled and touched one. Wallace looked into her lilac eyes and kissed her long hair gently, the bubbles floating around them.
"Happy Birthday, my dear." He said, smiling.
"It's beautiful Wallace, thanks." She said, sweet.
Then all the Gym Leaders of Hoenn and Ruby and Sapphire came into the Gym, shouting Happy Birthday Winona and bringing many balloon and a strawberry cake.
"Wallace or another man, I still have time to choose who I will marry, I'm just 25." Winona thought, happy.
