The Day Remus Came Back or How Remus Came Back
It was a Saturday morning and Harry was awake playing with the resurrection stone, wishing that Remus would come back more than he had ever wished in his life. He had just seen Teddy, who was now 15. Teddy had seen the same memory that Harry had seen that day in the Snape's office so many years ago. But he wasn't seeking assurance about James; he was wondering why Remus hadn't done anything for Severus. Harry had answered as best he could; that Remus had been too scared that he would lose his friends, but Harry didn't think that it was a very good answer. That is why he was now holding the resurrection stone and longing for his best friend (other than Ron, and Hermione). Suddenly, the resurrection stone; usually cold as death, began to grow warm, reaching scorching point to where Harry dropped it. He could hear the faint howl of a werewolf and he looked up. What he saw nearly gave him a heart attack. There, right before his eyes, was Remus, growing more solid by the second. When he completely solidified, Harry was speechless. "How...what the...how did you...how did this...?" Remus smiled. "It is a very long story Harry, but I'll satisfy your question. There are parts of it I don't even understand," Remus said as he sat down on Harry's bed. "You wanted me so much that even Death couldn't keep me away from you. The reason this has never worked on anyone else is because with Sirius, well, sadly he's gone in a way nothing can get him back. With James and Lily, you accepted their death. Same with everyone in The Final Battle. But you always felt so guilty about me because of Teddy. And today he struck a nerve that had been avoided for years Harry. It stirred something up in you, a wanting so powerful, so passionate, that, like I said, even Death couldn't keep me away from you," Remus finished the explanation off and waited for Harry's reaction. All the information made Harry's head spin. Then, Harry realized that nothing short of a miracle had happened. He was so happy that he had gotten his best friend back that he got up and hugged Remus hugged him tighter than he had in his life. "Ginny, Lily, James, Albus! Remus is back! He's back!" Everyone came running into the room. Then everyone's faces split into ear-to-ear smiles and everyone ran to Remus, nearly making him topple over. Questions and 'hello's' and 'oh my gosh!'s were exchanged, and several patronus' were sent out. And to this day, there was never a happier sight than the day Remus John Lupin, werewolf, came back.
Fewf! I feel like my brain ran a marathon! So's, what do ya think?
