Pairing: Rex/Holiday or not (depends on your view)
Summary: A short drabble
Length: 352
A/N: I'm sorry, I could not help myself. It is short drabble, and a first attempt at a story for the pairing… and I'm out of practice.

A smile slipped onto her lips despite her best efforts; at least it wasn't a laugh that would only encourage him to continue this stupid game.

"Come on, Doc! That one was awesome and you know it." Rex huffed and puffed, but he wasn't done. He lit up finding the next 'perfect' line, "Do you have a BandAid?"

Holiday's thin eyebrow arched as she strapped the black cuff to his arm. Her eye roll was enough of an answer.

"I just scraped my knee falling for you." His smirk fell to a well-practiced pout. "But we could skip the BandAid and you can kiss it to make it better."

"Lame." She replied efficiently, yet her eyes twinkled as she pumped the air into the cuff. She glanced down, watching the needle fall backward on the dial. "Eighty over a hundred." She listed to herself and tried to end this disastrous conversation.

Rex's shoulders fell slightly, his confidence being slowly broken.

"Very Lame." Six added as he stepped into the examination room.

If Rex wasn't pouting before, he was now. "What do you know?..." He grumbled, but he bounced back quickly, and a smile slowly returned to grace his features. He wasn't going to be put down. "She is totally falling for me."

"Right, she is drooling all over you. Come on, you got work." Six jerked his head to side.

Rex bounced off of the chair and shrugged on his coat. "I guess I will see you later…"

"Be safe." Holiday said as she turned back to work, adding data to a table trying to ignore him. She felt a feathery light brush of a hand on her shoulder, but it was gone as soon as she felt it.

"You're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line."

He laughed ducked the stapler remover she threw at his head.

"You know it is working!" He called as he ran to catch up to Six.

"It's not."Holiday said loudly for him to hear.

She rolled her shoulders turning back to her work. 'It's not,' she reminded herself as she forced her lips not to curl into a small smile.
