Breaking Point
Four months since Emily's 'death.' Four months since Emily went into hiding. Four months since Hotch and JJ began keeping a secret four months.
Hotch couldn't keep the secret anymore. He would break soon. He knew he couldn't tell the secret or Emily's life would be in danger. He couldn't take it anymore.

The team was gathered in the conference room after a case. Hotch couldn't take it. It was difficult to keep the secret when the entire team was gathered in the same room and not going over a case.
All of a sudden, Hotch didn't know what happened, but something came over him. He said, "She lived." Everyone looked at him and JJ glared at him and shouted, "Hotch!"
Everyone was looking between JJ and Hotch. They didn't know what Hotch was talking about. They wanted an explanation to what was going on. Finally, JJ spoke. "Emily's alive. She lived. She was put into hiding right after surgery and no one was supposed to know. Hotch and I were the only ones that were supposed to know." She said, glaring at Hotch.
Everyone was shocked by this. JJ continued speaking. "And, now, Hotch just told the secret. He put Emily in danger."
"JJ, I didn't mean to."
"Whatever. None of you can say anything. We've been tracking Doyle. We're close to finding him, but we're not going after him until we're sure we know where he is. Emily is currently tracking Doyle down as well, while in hiding. No one can let this secret slip or Emily could be in grave danger."
Everyone understood and no one said a word.
