DIMITRI'S REACTION TO STAN'S FIGHT WITH ROSE
The class just ended and I was furious.
I don't care what issues Stan had with this girl, she did not deserve that kind of treatment or humiliation.
As the novices exited I made my way to the front of the room to talk to "Guardian Alto".
"Alto!"
"Belikov, I didn't see you there, were you in here last session?"
Slowly growing angrier I replied that I was.
"Then you saw the way I dealt with Hathaway?" He smirked. "I think it was a job well done, no cheek back and I got my point across."
"Yes I did." He then it would seem he finally noticed my expression; I wasn't here to congratulate him.
"What's wrong with you?" He asked confused.
"What is wrong with you?" I replied. "Not only did you purposely try to humiliate that girl in front of her peers and other guardians you also acted in a highly inappropriate manner." My voice rising with every word.
He seemed shocked for a moment before he got his voice back. "Me inappropriate? What did I do that was inappropriate?"
"You know very well the events surrounding their return to the academy, you know this girl has not slept more that 2 hours in the last 2 days as well as having lost blood. She was unwell and you were under strict order not to single her out. An order need I remind you, you blatantly disregarded."
"So what I was meant to coddle her? It's hardly my fault the she acted like a blood who-" Before he could finish I punched him in the stomach.
"You will not speak about a student like that, especially my student." Turning around to leave I called over my shoulder, "And I expect you to follow orders Guardian Alto, if I hear of Rose being treated in such a way again you will regret it and Alberta will be informed."
Signing as I walked off I thought to myself "why did that matter to me? Stan's always been an arsehole why did this instance affect me so much?"
Before I could stop it the answer came to me.
Because of her. Because of Rose.
