Too many shadows in my room.
Too many hours in this midnight.
Too many corners in my mind.
So much to do to set my heart right.
Oh, it's taking so long. I could be wrong,

But if I take my heart's advice,
I should assume it's still unsteady.
I am in repair.

Reid was hurt and heartbroken. Everything seemed wrong. He and Emily had been dating and were starting to get serious, until she broke up with him. She said she just didn't feel the same way as she had when they first started dating.

So many thoughts were racing through his mind. He didn't know if what she told him was the real reason she left, He believed she left for another reason, but he didn't know what. He knew he didn't do anything wrong.

Stand on the corner for a while,
To wait for a wind to blow down on me.
Hoping it takes with it my old ways,
And brings some brand new luck upon me.

Reid decided to take a walk outside. He hoped it would clear his mind. He needed to stop thinking about Emily. He would go insane if he didn't stop.

He figured he just wasn't lucky. With everything that happened when he was a child, he definitely wasn't anywhere near perfect. And now the girl he loved. left him.

As he walked, he realized his mind was slowly clearing. Though he could never forget anything, he was pushing everything aside at the moment. He was slowly getting better.

Maybe when things turn green again,

Reid walked through the park. Everything was so calming. He looked at the people having a good time. He could smell the flowers and the freshly cut grass. The park was a very peaceful place for him to clear his mind. He was getting better minute by minute.
