"You were always shy and I thought that you would always want to be alone somehow. Well maybe," he said and took my hand into his warm palms and I honestly blushed – real red! "I'll make my first move," he said and gave me the smile I had always wanted to see.
"I told you that I'm shy, alright! Gee, sis!" I yelled at my twin.
"Oh come on. He's single and have you ever thought about it. If you're never ever going to tell him how you feel later on, you'll lose this chance," Miki pressed on.
"Well, if I do say a thing, I highly doubt that he would even say yes! I mean, what am I to him? Some kind of nerd that tries to look good in front of him?"
"Ruka's not that type of guy. I mean, if you're talking about Natsume – sure yes, without a doubt. But Ruka's kind, am I not right? That is the main reason why you have a crush on him in the first place." she smirked.
I continued walking, ignoring the small little rumors that's going on. The Miki can't keep her mouth shut can she? I walked straight – straight – straight – BUMP.
"So sorry," I apologized to the person I bumped into. I stretched my hand around me trying to grab onto my glasses but failed unfortunately. Then I felt something cold put upon my ear and my vision cleared up and saw – OhEmGee! My prince charming - Ruka Nogi!
"You alright? Sorry, I didn't see you there," he smiled gleefully at me and if it wasn't because of my books covering half my face, he would have been able to see the redness of my cheeks.
"Uh, yeah. I'm alright. Sorry you bumped into m- Eh, wait! Sorry I bumped into you," I stammered and he gave out a low chuckle as his face glistened in the Sun.
"It's fine, really. You're cute," he said and stood up as he offered his hand to me. "Let's walk to class together," he offered. I hesitantly reached out for his hand. This is the first time I held a guy's hand – besides my dad's, of course.
"So, I heard from Miki that-" he started and I knew exactly what he was getting into.
"Do not listen to whatever she says. She talks crap. Believe it," I told him quickly. I'll get that Miki later on. She's going down straight to the next life!
"Oh come on. Miki's a cool girl," he said as I smiled inwardly.
"She sure is." I admitted and nodded my head.
"Well, she said that you like me and you want the both of us to become friends and stuff, right?" he said. Oh, how I wish I could speak like him. All so lightly and no trace of worries nor anything laughable, unlike me. Just a word and everyone burst into laughter with tears forced out from their eyes.
I sheepishly nod my head.

I gulped as he leaned in closer to place a short kiss on my cheeks. If it wasn't because of his arms, I would have fallen flat onto the floor. Gosh, his lips on my cheeks. I felt hot and I felt; in love.
