It's sort of funny that people often think Kaiba Seto only wants power and would do anything to get it. It's not the truth, even if it does contain some truth. Kaiba Seto does want power, and he will do just about anything to get it, but that's not what really matters to him.
Kaiba Mokuba is the one thing that matters to Seto above all else, the one thing Seto would drop everything and do anything at all for. People don't think of it, of course, because how many people believe that Seto is anything but a ruthless, ambitious, power-hungry CEO?
They may be brothers, but they may just as well be lovers or even soulmates. There's something about them that no one can break, a sort of bond that transcends all boundaries and obstacles. They are inexplicably drawn to each other despite everything else, and sometimes, that's the only thing keeping them from breaking.
Seto knows Mokuba as well as he knows himself, almost as if Mokuba were a part of him, and sometimes, he's not certain whether Mokuba is or isn't. He thinks that Mokuba may be an alternate version of him or really, who he could have been, and he takes care to keep Mokuba that way, like a fragile glass ornament. It's not just for him, really, because he promised to take care of Mokuba, and Seto's not sure what he will do if that promise is broken.
He has stopped at nothing to save Mokuba, and he never will. If Seto loses Mokuba, it's as if he has lost himself, and Seto knows that without Mokuba, he can't survive, not without someone fighting with him, someone who trusts him and loves him and believes him without question, unconditionally.
So he pampers Mokuba and spoils him silly, and Mokuba doesn't ever change except love him more with every passing day. Sometimes, Seto thinks that by touching Mokuba, he's breaking him a piece at a time, and then, Mokuba's touching him, and Seto forgets.
Seto gives Mokuba whatever he wants, and he knows that no matter what Mokuba asks for, Seto will find a way to give it to him, even if Mokuba asks for him. It's not that Seto won't but more that he can't refuse Mokuba. Mokuba is what he really lives for, after all.
