Quick one-shot I'm doing about Hollykit (Fernclouds daughter) because I'm bored and just wanna write a story.
I'm cold. So cold. I see a cat off in the distance, the cat is walking towards me. I turn to run, but pick up the familiar scent of ThunderClan. The cat reaches me, and I look up at them. The rest of the forest grows dark. I see a light in the distance behind the cat. The cat looks like they're made of stars.
"Why do you look like you're made of stars?" I mew. I look towards the light. It's so tempting, and I'm so cold. It looks as warm as Greenleaf. I just want to go, but I need to stay with my mother!
"I'm here to bring you to StarClan, I'm sorry you had such a short life, young kit." The other cat meows. The cat seems awfully calm, like they've had to bring another cat to StarClan before. I let out a pitiful wail.
"But I can't leave my mom! I'll miss her!" I meow. I don't want to go, I want to feel the warmth of my mother. I wanna stay with my brother! I'm not going!
"Don't worry, little kit. You'll be able to watch your mother from the stars." The other cat purrs. She looks sad to be here taking me to StarClan, but it must be her duty. I hesitate a lot before I answer the cat.
"Okay... I'll come with you" I mewl. I let out another pitiful wail and finally go to join StarClan with my brother, Larchkit.
Sorry for you guys waiting for another chapter of Water and Ice. I'm probably gonna rewrite it, I feel like even though its only been a while, I've learned so much about writing, and I'm confident I can do much better than what's already in that story.
