Transformers AU Movie/G1 style story set in 1985.
Rating- for this chapter...T for slight language and mention of gore.
Authors Note: Yes theres the dreaded OC thing going on here, just a bit of fun...and not to forget the more fun Human-turned Transformer.
Chapter 1: The offer.
He woke to the smell of piss and hospital food, and the feeling of plastic covered foam that was his mattress. The erratic bleeping, and the gentle dripping of the liquid in the bag above him filled his ears.
Yet he couldn't move, the moment he woke he realised that, everything was numb.
However he had limited vision, enough to see a man sitting watching him fixedly.
He seemed to be a doctor, by the small signs; the stethoscope around his neck, the briefcase beside him and the overall vibe. Though as he looked closer Franklin started to spot signs that didn't really fit the stereotype. His inner Detective instincts kicked in and he began to spot the irregulars.
Like his eyes, unless he was the type for extreme colour contacts-in this case so blue he thought that there was such a place as man looked to be nearing his Forties, however unless he felt he was going through his mid-life crisis he must have been colour blind or pissed off his hair dresser enough to get his hair blood red and swept back, save for the patch that was pure white and in a strange small V shape. He was wearing a strangely cut suit, all in red and white, there were no lapels, buttons or zips, in fact it looked flawless.
The Intense blue on blue eyes focused on him, the figure then, without breaking contact, got up and strode over to him in purposeful strides.
"You are On-line." He said, conversationally, his eyes never blinking. "I assume you want to know who I am?"He tilted his head, then snorted and looked outside. Then growled "Slag...I would have preferred to do this as politely and at least explained what will happen...however the beings that put you into this predicament have returned, so this is what I'm offering you...all you have to do is blink once for yes, twice for no. I can make you a new body, it will be different, granted, but you will be alive... What I have to do is take your brain and heart, and with those parts make you a different but new man, as it were..." He softened his expression. "It will mean you will never see your family, but you know where our men where taken, where it is. You're all we have to stop them taking over another planet. Please..."
Franklin grimaced as he thought of the concept, but it wasn't like he would have made it anyway...Matthew always said he was a stickler for not trying anything.
He blinked once.
What had he to lose?
"Thank you, thank you so much. My name is Ratchet. Remember that..."
Franklin sighed his last breath as he saw Ratchet change shape, become bigger and the room spiral.
"If anything else please remember that name..."
