Summary: Lavender was no princess, but Dudley was no knight. Lavender/Dudley
The first meeting was like a dream. A beautiful princess getting harassed by unwanted attention until a handsome knight swept in to save her. Except Lavender, through her own eyes, wasn't beautiful anymore because of her scars and Dudley knowing, even if his mom thinks so, he wouldn't ever be handsome. Still they got along great when Lavender invited him out on a drink as thanks.
They got along well enough, when Dudley found out that Lavender was a witch, he just accepted it. When Lavender realized that Harry's horrible cousin that she heard rumors was her Dudley, she almost went and curse the person responsible for the rumors.
Life was good for them, through Dudley never mention magic to his parents and Lavender had bad days where her scars would itch so bad she would cry. There were times when they had arguments when Lavender would yell and Dudley would grunt. There were times when Lavender would have a nightmare over the war, and Dudley would cuddle against her until she calmed down.
The two were just suited perfectly together.
