"Sakura!" Sasuke yelled, running up to her.

"Yes, Sasuke-kun?" She asked him.

"We're friends, right?" He asked.

"Of course!" She responded.

"Then I can tell you something?" He questioned.

"Yep!" Sakura said cheerfully.

"Good!" Sasuke said, and walked Sakura over to a bench. "I'm in love!" Sasuke said.

"Oh…really?" Sakura asked, hurting inside. He knew she loved him.

"Yeah." He said, excitedly, and ignoring Sakura's disappointed expression and her fake smile.

He could tell she was trying to be happy for him. "Can I describe her?"

"Sure!" Sakura said, putting on the best fake smile.

"Okay… She's very sweet and caring, but can carry out a fight if needed. She's always been there for me in my time of need. She moves her body in the most graceful way anyone has ever seen. I want to savor her name each time I say it, because it's like magic."

The more he went on, the sadder Sakura got. The more her heart cracked. Had he any idea how much she loved him? Did he know how much this hurt her?

"And…She has the most beautiful pink hair on the earth."

Sakura looked up from her hands that were set in her lap.

"And my favorite part…She has the most glorious, beautiful, shining, jade eyes. They outshine the stars on a night with no moon. And they're looking at me right now, with hope and joy sprinkled in them."

A tiny smile came on Sakura's lips, but a wider smile in her eyes.

"And I'm so deeply in love with her; I'm asking her to marry me right now. Do you think she'll accept?"

"I think she will."
