Hey-oh! So this is my first song fic, so be gentle!
The boy, Holy Rome, he was a sailor's son. He'd been near and far, all over the world. He was desperately searching for the siren who had captured his heart so many years ago. She was lovely; her hair a shade of auburn and her tail was two colors of green. Her long locks were tied back with a stark white sand-dollar.
It had been years now, and he finally was back home. This night, a lovely night with a huge white moon and bright stars, was so sad and lonesome to the boy. He set out in a row-boat to the big grey rock in the lagoon hoping to do some star-gazing. But when he got there, he was startled by what was on the rock! A beautiful woman was on the rocks. Her hair was a shimmery auburn and was tied back with a white bandana, while her dress was two shades of green!
There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her
And you don't know why
But you're dying to try
You wanna kiss the girl
Holy Rome stopped the boat on the bottom of the rock. He adjusted his close, the ones he had worn his entire life, and prepared to talk to the girl, his pretty siren from all those years ago. But as time rolled on, and the wind blew by, the small boy knew he was too afraid. To afraid of rejection. To afraid of her.
Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do
It's possible she wants you, too
There is one way to ask her
It don't take a word
Not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl
Kiss her, oh why did he want to kiss her? It was a stupid idea. He should just row back home before his family noticed, and if he spotted the girl in town, talk to her there. Yes, that's what he should do…
Sing with me now
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
My, oh, my
Look at the boy too shy
He ain't gonna kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ain't that sad
Ain't it shame, too bad
You gonna miss the girl
Yes, it would be sad if he didn't get a chance to talk to her, but oh well. Suddenly, the girls gaze shifted to him and Holy Rome knew that the girl saw him.
Now's your moment
Floating in a blue lagoon
Boy, you better do it soon
No time will be better
She don't say a word
And she won't say a word
Until you kiss the girl
Her mouth opened and she looked like she was going to say something, but then she closed it and looked downcast. For the siren was mute. Holy Rome could feel it then. He needed to kiss her; there was no doubt about it. That was their only way to connect. But he was still scared.
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don't be scared
You got the mood prepared
Go on and kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don't stop now
Don't try to hide it how
You wanna kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Float along
Listen to the song
The song say kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Music play
Do what the music say
You wanna kiss the girl
She leaned in, and every once in his body begged Holy Rome to do the same. He leaned in closer to her.
You've got to kiss the girl
Why don't you kiss the girl
You gotta kiss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl
Then…as the world came together…they kissed.
Warning! Warning! I hope to write a sequel of this (though it won't be a song-fic)!
