The Doctor felt a tear slip down his cheek. Rose was gone. Martha was gone. Donna was gone. Everyone was gone. He felt himself regenerate. AAAAAAHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGG! He stood up taking in his new appearance. "Right! Good." He pulled a lever and flew off through time and space. A new start.

Amy watched as the Doctor and River flirted. Her doctor. In love with someone else. She frowned. Somewhere amidst her love for Rory was a yearning for the doctor. Who was looking at River with adoration. She remembered how it felt when she kissed him. Fireworks.

They ran along. Hands held. They smiled at each other. John Smith and his wife from the Boarding School. It felt like a movie reel. John looked down at his son, James. Beautiful. They gushed how he would become a teacher like his father. Life went fast, but it was beautiful still.

River ran through the prison. Escaping to meet her doctor. She could hear the distant whooshing of the Tardis. "Melody Pond, what do you think you are doing?" Amy and Rory stood at the door of the Tardis. "Mum…Dad! She hugged them both. "Escaping?" Typical of her life to get in trouble for meeting the doctor.

Rose laughed at the doctor. "I bet you can't dance!" The doctor pursed his lips. "Of course I can, just not as good as I could before in my ninth incarnation!" She laughed again, taunting him. He grasped her waist, and spun her round to the music. "Look you can dance!" They laughed and spun.

The doctor looked at Sexy. "Don't leave me." he sniffed. "I'm burning up my body. But this was the time we talked." He watched as she evaporated. The tardis, the ultimate companion. He felt the control. "Take me where I need to go, sexy." And she did. While Amy and Rory slept, Sexy took him to place she was born. Gallifrey. Burnt up and broken, the last reminder of the time war. The doctor squished his face up. New and clean. It was a lot younger than his other faces. It took a very high self esteem to regenerate. You had to get used to a whole new body. The doctor sighed. At least he wasn't a girl this time. Now that would take some getting used to.

Amy and Rory stood on the moon base 40256/apple/980. Dancing…well swaying to the music coming from inside the tardis. The doctor had sent them out so he and river could get up to other activities. What those activities were exactly, Rory preferred not to think about. It was nice anyway, Rory's hands around Amys waist and swayed and swayed and swayed.
