Forever Crimson

Hermione never believed in legends, and she never listened to the tall tales that she heard from the late nights in the common room. Imagine her surprise when she saw a vampire for the first time. He was the very image of sexiness that she ran into late at night when she was coming back from a late library run. The question of how he got into the castle left her mind with one glimpse of his moon shining skin, pearly pointy teeth, and dark rustled hair. She was entranced at the sight and he loved it.

He brought her out to the dark forest and stole her innocence and soul in the same night. Not that she cared she was under his spell. He left when she fell asleep with no explanation or reason. About 2am she awoke to a great pain in her heart as it came to a screeching stop. Suddenly she felt hungry, weak, and thirsty, however; she knew on instinct that she shouldn't move for a while because she didn't know where she was or what happened.

"Hermione! Hermione!" she heard carried by the wind. She tried to make a sound but all that came out was a hoarse kind of breath. As soon as she let out a breath the pain set in a horrible unparallel pain that coursed through her veins in place of blood and as soon as she felt she was going to drown in her pain it stopped. She was to frightened and confused to move; luckily she heard the voice calling to her again only this time it was closer and gaining.

"I found her!" Hermione heard being yelled as a pair of warm muscular arms scoped her up. In the safety that was Harry's arms Hermione felt herself falling asleep.

"I didn't feel a heart be at all when I was carrying her." Harry said to Madam Pomfrey as he laid Hermione down on the nearest bed in the hospital wing. Pomfrey looked Hermione over considering Harry's words until saying, "Yes that will be part of her condition."

"What do you mean?"

"She is a vampire." Long silence "My guess is it happened last night. She will be able to live a normal life as long as she never tastes human blood. If she does her lips will be stained forever crimson with the blood and she will have an undying thirst for blood even more then before."

Everyone in the room was staring at the woman including Hermione who had been woken up with the word "vampire" that was spoken like a sin upon Madam Pomfrey's lips.
