Prologue
Ian Archer silently took in the words of the hologram. "The next level of Tower Prep? We just escaped to go to another psycho academy?"
"Maybe not. Maybe she was just referring to the upcoming conflict," Suki said. Suddenly, Ian's preflex kicked in. "Someone's coming," he whispered.
A bush rustled behind Gabe. Gabe screamed, almost dropping Señor Guapo yo the ground. "Who- What-"
"Probably just a small animal, Gabe," CJ said reassuringly.
Ian shook his head. "No. Someone's following us."
Suki sighed. "Look. If Headmaster was good, we should go back and help him."
Ian took a deep breath. "You're right. If someone's in trouble, we need to help." The group retrieved the key and re entered Tower Prep Academy.
The two men in suits burst into Headmaster's office. The man was still unconscious. "Good. Makes our job a whole lot easier." The men dragged him out. The plan would have to work. Then, the stunt double walked in. He was identical in appearance and demeanor to the original. The new headmaster took his seat behind his desk.
Ian and his gang were now at Headmaster's office. "Alright, lets go in," Suki said. She opened the door. Ian sighed. "Headmaster, we need to talk." Headmaster frowned. "Talk? By no means. You are going straight to West Campus for your crimes against Tower Prep."
The gang started speaking frantically and in a rushed tone. Headmaster raised his hand. Six monitors came in and took them away.
Ian Archer woke with a start. "Where am I? What's going on?" The person next to him shrugged. "Beats me, but they have amazing food." Ian went up to him and shook his shoulders. "No, I'm serious. Where the hell am I?" The guy sighed. "Welcome to Tower Prep. A school for kids with special abilities." Ian frowned. "You know... that's weird. None of this surprises me."
The guy shrugged. "Ok man. Whatever. Oh, you just missed the pep rally." Ian shook his head. "Look, I'm sorry, but I need answers."
Nobody helped. Not the teachers, nor the students. All he knew was that he had to follow the program Damn it.
The first three weeks at Tower Prep passed uneventfully. Then, he had the urge to... fight FOR the program. Ian found himself reprimanding other students, and striving to be a star student.
One day, he was walking in the woods. The chilly air and mist added eeriness to the atmosphere. Suddenly, a hand grabbed him from behind. "You. Archer. Come on." Ian pursued the student with a hood, who was running away. He lead him to a... bunker of sorts. "You will be our alpha gnome." Then, the helmet was placed on Ian's head.
