During ROTJ. Right after they killed Jabba and are returning to their ships. Luke finds out about Han and Leia the hard way. I don't own Star Wars or any of the characters in it. Read and Review! I know it's short, just get over it. Set in Luke's POV.
"Han!" Leia screamed, running up to him and wrapping her arms tightly around him. "Oh, Han. I thought I lost you. I thought I was never going to see you again!" I smiled at the sight of my two best friends getting along so well.
"I didn't think I would ever see you again either, Sweetheart."
Then Leia did something I didn't think that she would ever do. She wrapped one arm around his head and brought his face down to hers, bringing him into a kiss.
Han Solo kissing Leia?!? This is NOT happening.
"I love you." Leia said, smiling and stroking the back of his head.
"I know." Leia giggled. She never giggles.
"Never leave me."
"I won't, but… what are you wearing?" He felt her bare skin beneath his hands.
"What Jabba told me to wear. But it doesn't matter now."
"What did he do?" He asked, wrapping a blanket around her.
"Nothing. Nothing you scoundrel."
As they held each other in their arms, I became jealous. I know I shouldn't be, but I felt that I had some sort of connection to her; that we were meant to be together. I guess not. I sighed and managed to tear my eyes off of them and look over the sand.
I harbor very strong feelings for Leia, and I just need to get over them. I love her! I was the one who wanted to save her in the first place, not Han! Han would have rather have her killed then go and rescue her! Then I thought about when it was that Leia finally admitted her feelings for Han. I guess it was while I was a Dagobah, learning from Yoda.
But what about that kiss in the med center? Didn't that mean anything? Or was that just something to make Han jealous?
I sighed again and then glanced over and Leia and Han. Leia was laughing and Han was stroking her hair. Leia looked over at me, and smiled with all her might. I really have never seen her this happy. Besides the day that I destroyed the first death star, and Han helped me. I faked a smile, and then turned back to the sand that was whipping by my face.
What really bugged me though was the fact that Leia never told me any of this when Han was frozen in carbonite.
I sighed again, and then noticed 2 big black blurs coming up. The barge started to slow down, and Lando walked over to me.
"Hey, Luke, you doing okay?" He asked me, placing a hand on my shoulder and shaking it.
"Yeah. Fine." I faked another smile and then watched Han and Leia put their goggles on.
"Come on Han. I'll help you walk. Trust me." She took his hand, and Han smiled as she led him down the ramp.
When Leia and Han made it down the ramp, I shook my head and then said, "Why didn't you tell me?" Right before my heart broke in two.
