"FATHER!" Lloyd exclaims, running down. Tears were flowing freely from his eyes.

The Green Ninja instantly embraced his beloved father tightly, sobbing into his chest. Once he pulled away, Garmadon explained everything.

"Lloyd, you're here...! Oh, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...There's not much time before the water comes up too far, and I won't survive. Not to mention that the chains cannot break as well. There is nothing I can do. It's unfortunately hopeless."

"Oh, Father...!" Lloyd cried desperately "Can't I do anything...?!"

"No. It's impossible for me to escape... You-You'll have to go on...without me."

"But Dad, you know I can't leave you behind to suffer...! I-I just want you to come home with me...!" Lloyd choked out. He felt his chest hurt as he said those words.

"Lloyd Montgomery," Garmadon replied. "I know how much this troubles you. I want to come home also, but I can't escape... You won't be able to free me... I've loved you so much since you were born, to this day. I'm absolutely proud of you. But this is where my journey ends. I'm sorry."

"Oh..." Lloyd sighed, pulling away. "I guess this is goodbye. I'm really gonna miss you."

His father smiled sadly and nodded. "Yes. Me too. But I'll always be in your heart, Lloyd. Never forget that. It has been so wonderful being with you, but it ends here for me. I'll love you forevermore."

"I'll love you too, Father." Lloyd replies, embracing his father tightly for the last time.

Garmadon sighed. "Lloyd, stay strong, alright? And remember that I'll always be a part of you."

"A-Alright... I-I'm really going to miss you... Farewell, Father..." Lloyd's voice trembled uneasily as he nodded, slowly coming to accept Garmadon's fate.

"Farewell, my son..."

The Green Ninja reluctantly pulled away, taking out the Realm Crystal, and activated it, instantly vanishing. Garmadon sighed as the water eventually began to fill the chamber. Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, I am so proud of you. You are my world. You have been and always will be.

There was a sudden silence.

He was gone.
