It's In His Kiss

Saying goodnight was fast becoming both her most and least favourite part of the night. Nobody said goodnight quite like Killian Jones. She wasn't going to lie and say she didn't want more than a goodnight kiss, but it was always one hell of a goodnight kiss. Especially now that his heart was back in place.

When Killian kissed, it was as though he was savouring it like one would savour a fine wine. It was almost as though he was using all of his senses to fully appreciate the woman he was kissing.

The sense of touch where his fingers tangled in her hair and his lips brushed hers. His sense of smell as he seemed to inhale the scent that was uniquely her. The sense of taste as his tongue tangled with hers. The sense of sound as he listened for those little sounds she made when she wanted him to deepen the kiss. Not to forget the sense of sight. Those electric blue eyes which seemed to read her every thought before making a move towards her.

Not that Killian ever did anything half way. With Graham it was desperation that was in his kiss. With Neal it was wanting to get free of a magical past and with Walsh there was always something not quite right. With Killian it was so right that it was all she could do to stop herself from dragging him into the apartment and rip his clothes off. Considering she was still sharing an apartment with her Parents, it was probably better not to disrobe a Pirate in front of them.

Here they were again saying goodnight. Ever the gentleman, Killian had walked her to her door. "I really need to get my own place." Thank goodness Henry was already looking for a place for them.

He smiled to himself as he always did, knowing full well she didn't want to say goodnight anymore that he did. "Perhaps tomorrow you will find something." Then as always he looked at her as if seeking permission before swooping in to capture her lips.

Every time it was as though they were igniting an inferno. One that grew hotter and lasted longer than the previous. Emma was concerned that they might start a real fire before too long. Sure, she was in control of her powers, but at this rate she was fast losing control of her emotions and the ability to stand up straight. She guessed being weak at the knees was a real thing.

She had asked him to be patient and he had, but now she was the one having trouble being patient. Both of them were trying to catch their breath and clinging to the other as though they were their lifeline. "See you tomorrow at Granny's?" At this point she'd take the first apartment that was available.

"As you wish." He slowly backed away from her not want her to leave his sight. "Until tomorrow."

Yes, it was definitely getting harder to say goodnight, but oh so enjoyable.

The End
