Hey everyone. This is for the Return of the Chocolate Frog Cards on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I wrote for Xaiver Rastrick (Silver). The task was to write about what could have happened to Rastrick. I kind of thought that maybe Rastrick planned this out ahead of time and this little idea kind of played itself out. I hope you all enjoy Where in the World Am I?.
It had to happen during a tap dancing show. That is how I would be remembered. The guy who disappeared during tap dance performance. I looked around me at my new surroundings with a small smile on my face.
"Can I help you, sir?" asked one of the people standing near by. He looked like he was a Muggle policeman.
"No," I told him smile still on my face as I put my hand in my pocket. My new identity and identifying cards were still in my pocket where I had stowed them. "I'm fine. I will just be on my way."
He watched me with a strange look on his face as I walked down the street. Ducking into an alley not that far away I turned back to where the Muggle policeman was talking to another Muggle policeman.
"Obliveate," I whispered pointing my wand at the duo.
My secret now safe I walked down the street taking a Daily Prophet from where some witch or wizard or other had left. I couldn't have been more shocked to find that I was the story on the front page. The headline read Wizard disappears during tap dance! Shocking Secret found at house.
Laughing I muttered, "All my life trying to get the front page and it happens because of this." I knew that I had left behind nothing that could point to where I was now. In fact I couldn't really tell you where I was now. I tapped a nearby person on the shoulder.
"Where am I?" I asked the person looking around me.
"You're in Salem," the man told me.
"Thank you."
Walking a little bit farther away I once again ducked into an alleyway to Obliveate the mind of the man I had just talked to. As I left the alleyway I could see I was getting some weird looks from the people around me as I headed off to buy myself a new house and start my new life as Matthew Barebone. Hopefully no one who knew the Barebones would comment on this. Hopefully no one would find me here.
I hope you all enjoyed Where in the World Am I?. This is my first time writing for Rastrick and I can totally see this being plausible for why he was never seen again.
