A/N: Hey guys! Here is the intro chapter of a new adventure in the world of pokemon! *Clears throat* Anyway, enjoy! :)

Three thousand years ago: off the coast of Kalos

The woman looked into the eyes of the dark beast before her, her long black hair catching on a breeze. She was floating with the help of her pokemon, a group of psychic types.

The being in front of her was a dark mass with to red eyes; the legendary pokemon Korotenshi.

The woman held out her hands, firing her own psychic powers. The best cried out as the purple energy surrounded both him and the woman. Once it cleared, the beast, the woman, and the pokemon were gone, leaving only an island in their place. In the center of this island was a mountain, the peak giving off a faint purple glow.

West side of town: Professor Beech's Lab

"Mime!" Shouted Mime jr, running through the hallway with a book held above his head.

"Mime!" Shouted the young teenage girl not far behind. "Give it back you little thief!"

The girl was bare foot, and was in gray shorts and a orange T-shirt. Her skin was dark, her hair darker, and her eyes a warm coffee brown. Though she was trying to seem mad, she was barley holding back a laugh.

The little pokemon turned just long enough to stick out his tongue at his trainer before taking off again. The girl followed him into the yard, the grass soft under her bare feet.

"Got you." She said, picking the little psychic type up. "Now give it back you little rascal."

Mime jr laughed, still holding the book above his head.

"April, it's lunch time." called the girl's father from the door.

He looked a lot like his daughter, but his hair was streaked with gray. He was wearing jeans and a black long sleeved shirt with a pair of dress shoes, and he was holding a plate of pasta. He was the professor on the island of Vento, Erik Beech. He was married to one of three of the island's gym leaders, Rose Beech.

April took the book from Mime jr before turning to her father. "Coming, daddy."

East side of town: Alheart mansion

"Lucy!" Shouted a man in his mid twenties, drawing the attention of his ten year old sister.

"Yes Max?" The girl asked.

Both were wearing fine clothes, and both had a pokemon close at hand. The young girl, Lucy, was holding a Ralts close to her chest. The young man, Max, was standing beside a Absoul.

Max sighed, placing an empty concordant of ice cream on the table. "Explain. Why do you always do this?"

"I didn't finish it."

"But you only left half a bowl."

"But it was really good." She half whined, causing her brother to sigh before turning back to his ice cream.

She sighed, pausing for a moment. "Hey Max?"

"What?" He asked, sitting beside her with half a bowl of ice cream.

"I've been thinking about going on a journey. Not world wide, like you did, but around the island."

Her older brother gave her an odd look, thinking she was joking. After a moment, he saw she wasn't. "Mkay, but I'm gonna come. Even around the island, it can get rough."

She stared at him. "You're kidding."

"Nope."

She squealed with joy, causing Ralts to jump.

"Ralts..." The little pokemon complained.

Center of town: Vento airport

A boy of around fourteen took a deep breath as he stepped off the plain. He had short brown hair and green eyes, and her wore a green hoodie and a pair of blue jeans. He placed a hand over the pokeballs on his belt, a small smile crossing his face.

"Alright team. Vento island of the Kalos region."
