Their bodies were warm in the cold room. She smiled at the fading fog on the window that reminded her just how warm they had been.
"Tell me a secret", he whispered.
She drew circles into his arm as he gently caressed her naked shoulders. He smelled of sweat and shampoo. "My heart is racing", she breathed, her lips spelling the words againt his skin.
He let out a soft laugh. "That's not a secret!", he said. "I can feel it."
She smiled at his muffled words as he kissed her neck over her pulse. Amelia slid her opposite hand up into the soft downy hairs at the base of his neck, tickling the skin between her fingers. She then curled her fingers into his scalp, gently massaging it, and Owen sighed.

"Tell me a secret", she whispered, leaning closer into him as the howling wind drifted through the window. Looking down at the skin over his shoulders, Amelia watched as his skin fleshed out into millions of tiny bumps. She smiled, wondering if he got goosebumps because of the cold winter night or because of her nearness.
"I love you", he answered.
It was her turn, the goosebumps fleshing out from her neck down her arms, across her chest, over her shoulders. They shared a long silence, their breathing almost synchronized.
"That's my secret too", she managed to whisper. Owen smiled as he felt the pounding in her chest doubling.
