Shadow Nametame fell to the heroes. Yu wasted no time, running and grabbing his surrogate sister Nanako. She opened her eyes at looked at him "Big...bro..."
"Nanako. Its okay. Big Bro is here" He smiles. Nanako does as well
"What...is this place? It doesn't look...like Inaba" She says
"Heh...well...its a long story..." He looked and saw Kanji and Yosuke grab Nametame "Okay we got him. Lets go!" The team nods as they run for the exit. But on their way...they ran into someone: a little girl in a pink shirt and brown skirt. Her brown hair put up in pigtails with the classic purple smoke and yellow eyes of a shadow.
"What the hell!?" Kanji was caught of guard.
"I can't believe it..." Naoto looked on in disbelief.
"Is that...Nanako-chan's shadow?" Teddie asked.
"But that doesn't make any sense!" Chie says "In order for someone to have a shadow they need to be hiding something. Nanako-chan's an open book!" Yu looked at his sister, who looked frightened at the other girl's appearance.
"You look...like me" Nanako says. The shadow giggles
"I am more then just someone who 'looks like you!'" she said in the distorted voice. "'Big bro is great!' 'I love him!' 'He's so nice!' What a bunch of malarkey!" This made everyone gasp.
"W..what?" Nanako asked.
"You heard me!" The shadow laughed. "No one else in the world can ever help you! Everyone is useless!"
"Nanako-chan?" Yukiko looked at her. Nanako was in tears.
"W..what? No! That's not..." She says.
"I spent all my life doing EVERYTHING myself! From making breakfast to cleaning! Daddy is never home and 'Big Bro' is always going out! Leaving me behind!"
"I had no idea...that's what I was doing..." Yu said. Nanako was crying
"No stop! I..I never said that! I never felt that!" She yelled at her shadow.
"Oh really now? Well that's not what I say! And since me and you are one and the same, that means that IS how you feel!"
"SHUT UP!" Nanako finally yelled in tears, catching the investigation team off guard. "Stop lying! You know nothing about me or my family! Stop calling Big Bro and Daddy useless! Because...Because!"
"!?" Everyone gasped
"Nanako-chan don't!" Kanji yelled
"Don't say it!" Yosuke yelled.
"Y...YOU'RE NOT ME!" She yelled. Her shadow grinned and started to laugh as dark smoke filled the air. The strong wind knocked Nanako out of Yu's hands and falls on the floor
"Nanako!" Yu yells. The team turns to the shadow, who appeared to them as a woman with Nanako's face and hair. She had a halo and dark angel wings. Her clothes were a long black dress. She was holding a golden harp.
"Hahaha!" She laughed "Now to show you what I can do all on my own! Time to say goodbye 'Big Bro!'"
"Dammit!" Yu said. "We dont gotta choice! Lets take her out!" The team nodded and lunged themselves at Shadow Nanako 'Nanako...I promise I will save you!'
