Lana slowly walked down the gravel path that leads to the graveyard. Her parents' graves were there, and it was a good place to clear her head. Plus, graves were better at listening than people. And today, she had a lot to say. "Hey mom, dad. It's me again." she felt silly telling her own parents who she was. "Anyway, I just wanted to update you on what's going on right now. School is going fine, I am getting good grades. The Talon Mom, it's so wonderful right now, you wouldn't even believe it. I almost always have to work late because so many people are there. Martha Kent helps too. She's great, I think she's the same as when you knew her. All the Kent's are, except maybe Clark. I know he has secrets. But I don't care! He is always there for me. The way he looks at me, it's like, and I'll never be in any danger, because he's always there."
She fell silent for a minute before rising to leave. "I think I love him Dad." she whispered before turning away.
Unknown to her, Clark Kent was sitting out of sight up in the branches of a tree. As soon as Lana had left, he hopped down and told her parents graves, "hello Mr. and Mrs. Lang. I'm Clark, and someday, I'm going to be your son-in-law."
If you want my opinion on why Clark "loves" 'Lois' just PM me!
