I had recently revealed my secret to the small town of Crowley Corners in Tennessee. They were the first ones to know. I didn't want to tell them but I really had no choice. It was that or I lost Travis, and he might be the one for me. I was willing to risk it losing my privacy, but I won't. I really thought it was a long shot, but they agreed to keep my secret. It was such a miracle! I really thought they were going to keep it, they all seemed like nice people. But I was wrong.

"Miley, come quick!" My dad yelled.

We had recently landed back in California, and I was feeling changed. Before basically being kidnapped by own father and taken to Tennessee, I was letting Hannah Montana become attached to the fame, and by allowing that to happen, I was letting fame get into my head.

"What's up?" I asked my dad.

"We have a problem."

I thought of a million things but never guessed what he told me next.
"Miley, it's over," he said.

"What?"

"Someone told the media about you."

"What? What do you mean? They know?" I asked frantically.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, we shouldn't have trusted a town with a secret like that," dad said.

I couldn't believe it. It wasn't possible. My secret had lasted for so long, it couldn't just be over. Why would someone tell? I didn't know how to react; I was nervous and scared as to what would happen next. Miley and Hannah were one but only a few knew. Not anymore though, someone had alerted the media and soon enough the whole world would know that Hannah Montana is actually Miley Cyrus.

"I just got off the phone with PR, and they saw it on the news," Dad said as he turned on the TV.
"We have breaking news on America's sweetheart and pop sensation, Hannah Montana or should we say Miley Cyrus? Yes, that's right, Hannah Montana is not real! We have footage provided by an anonymous source where 'Hannah Montana' admits she is actually a girl named Miley Cyrus," the lady on the news said.

Sure enough, there was I stopping mid-song to confess. There was no way to deny this, but I couldn't bring myself to accept this. I just couldn't.

"Oh my god, what are we going to do?" I asked.

"We need to do a press conference," dad said.

"No, I can't. I'm not ready to give up Hannah or Miley, Dad. I still want to be both."

"Miley, sweetheart, we have no choice, you just saw it. Someone recorded you, and outed you, everyone is asking for an explanation, including your fans. You owe it to them."

I was trying to wrap my head around what was happening when Lilly and Oliver came rushing in.

"We heard," Lilly said.

"Miley, we are so sorry," Oliver added.

But I was in denial, "no this isn't happening, I'll give it up when I am ready, and that moment is not now."

"Miley," dad said.

"No," I replied.

They all stared at me not knowing what to do. I didn't know what to do, I really thought my secret would be safe but I guess not. I knew I had to accept this, but it was hard.

"It's going to be hard, but you need too," dad said.

"I know, it's just I didn't think I would have to anytime soon."

We stayed silent for a few minutes, only the TV on as they went about telling my "breaking news."

"I'll do it," I said, "I'll do a press conference and explain everything. I owe it to the fans."
"I know you can do this," my dad said.

"Yeah, and we'll be there for you," Oliver added, and Lilly smiled.

"I know. I know I can do this but I need your support," I replied.

"Of course, Miley! We are always going to be here for you." Lilly said.

I knew it was going to be hard, and maybe I wasn't ready to reveal my secret, but it was something I had to do. And as long as I had my family, and my best friends with me, I knew everything was going to be okay.
