"Joe!" Nick called as he stepped off the tour bus. The Jonas Tour Bus had stopped for gas and a quick break before heading onto the next state. Joe had rushed off quickly, desperate to get some fresh air, "Joe!" Nick called again, "Joseph," he smirked to himself; he knew that if he called him Joseph he'd definitely get a rise out of him.

Then he saw Joe's hunched over body sitting on the sandy beach that lay out on the landscape in front of them and Nick began to climb over the rocks to see his elder brother.

"Hey Joe," he said, struggling over a large rock.

"Hey," Joe stood up quickly, "How're you doing?"

"I'm good, Joe," Nick replied slightly sarcastically, gripping breathlessly onto a large rock, "How about you?"

"Alright," Joe squinted his eyes in the sun and looked out to the horizon.

"You sure?" Nick asked, turning Joe around so he faced the sea and leant on his shoulders, "You kind of went a bit crazy in there," he whispered in his ear intimately.

Joe laughed a throaty laugh and turned around to face his brother, "Don't you ever wonder what it would be like if none of this had happened?" he asked.

Nick contemplated his answer for a moment, "Sometimes," he answered truthfully, "But I know I wouldn't change this for anything," there was a silence between them as Joe looked down and shuffled his feet slightly, "You're happy aren't you Joe?"

Joe looked up and took a deep breath, "I'm happy, but I'm tired of being something I'm not,"

"What're you talking about?" Nick asked, frowning towards his brother.

"I just feel a part of me is missing…" Joe's voice cracked slightly and slowly his eyes filled with drizzly tears.

"Oh Joe," Nick breathed, embracing his brother, Joe's arms wrapped firmly around his waist and Nick brushing his elegant fingers through his older brother's messy curls. Joe looked up and Nick looked down, foreheads bumping against each other, lips lingering and a sudden rush of hormones as Joe kissed up into Nick's mouth, sucking his bottom lip. Slowly, Joe broke away, leaving a trail of intimacy, waiting for Nick's eyelids to flutter open.

"Did you find it?" Nick asked, playing a cheeky grin on his face.

Joe smiled, "Yeah," he sighed quietly, "I think so,"
