Jack O'Neill fumbled with one hand to fish his keys out of his pocket, shifting his two year old son Kayden to his right side. His four year old daughter Mia, impatiently tapping her foot on the cold tiled porch. Finally and with a mutter of 'Success!' He removed the keys from his pocket and opened the door. Mia ran inside full paced to escape the cold winter whether. Jack walked into the living room and placed Kayden on the floor.

"Sam?" He called. No answer was returned.

"SAM?!" Jack yelled again. Still there was no answer. He moved silently trough the house looking into each room. He noted when he pulled up, that Sam's car was in the driveway, and yet she was no where to be found in the living area of the house. Venturing his way into the den, Jack turned quickly and listened carefully. Faint singing could be heard from somewhere in the house, and he could just make out the words.

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away.

Jack slowly and silently made his way around the house following the voice. He moved closer to the kitchen were the singing had grown louder and louder and there right before his eyes was Samantha Carter – O'Neill, her back to him, dancing and singing in their kitchen. He still hadn't figured out the source of the music until she swayed silently and the earphone cord swayed into view. Ahh IPod he though. He watched her for a minute of two, until he felt a small tug at his Dress Jacket. He looked down to find Mia beckoning him down.

"What's Mommy doing Daddy?" She whispered in his ear. A small smile appeared on his face as he whispered back

"She's dancing and singing sweetie"

"Oh" Came the reply before she ran off, towards the living room. The singing continued as Sam was still unaware Jack was home.

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love that we shared in September.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days.

Jack laughed out loud as she swayed her hips with the beat and lifted her arm's above her head. Sam quickly spun around as Jack's face turned from laughter to pure innocence.

"Jack O'Neill" She scolded. Her voice full of anger but her eyes sparkling mischievously.

"How long have you been standing there?!"

"Give or take five, ten minutes" He winked at her. She pulled the earphones out of her ears and stalked up to him.

"Welcome home" She said and kissed him. Jack returned the kiss.

"I'm not in trouble?" He asked looking her in the eye.

"Let's just say you'll pay for it later" She winked and walked past him towards the living room. The squeals of his children could be heard as Jack O'Neill stood there utterly confused.
