one night yuki was lying in her bed at cross academy where she has lived for most of her life. "Im scared" a voice of a little girl said. Yuki tossed and turned on her bed sobbing.
"Yuki are you alright?" Yori asked nudging Yuki gently on the arm.
"Yes i am alright" Yuki answered back sitting up on her bed whipping away tears. "Just a bad dream." Yuki sat with her knees tucked near her chest. "I have been having bad dreams lately"
"ohh" Yori said sitting on the bed beside Yuki "is that why you havent been getting much sleep?" she asked.
"Yeh" Yuki said getting up from the bed and then strapped artemis on to her leg. "I am going to go for a walk." Yori nodded as Yuki walked out of the room. "Go back to sleep." She closed the door behind her and then slumped against the wall. "What do these dreams mean?" she asked herself.

She stood there for awhile and then heard some one walking down the hall. "Whose there?" Yuki called out to the person walking down the hall. Zero came out of the shadows. "ohh its just you zero."
"Yuki what are you doing out?" Zero asked "I told you i can handle the patrol by myself for tonight." Zero walked up to her and put his arms around her.
"I just came out because i needed to go for a walk" Yuki said hugging zero back. "I thought i might aswell do the rest of the patrol aswell."
"You sure?" Zero asked stepping back and looking into yukis eyes.
"Yes i am fine zero" Yuki said "you dont need to worry about me" yuki walked off down the hall and out of site from zero. "I don't want anyone worrying about me" she said to herself as she walked out side.

zero stood at the door looking out at the night sky and then saw yuki and kanema talking over near the fountain. "I hate vampires" Zero said "i despise the day that shizuka turned me into one of these abominations." zero stood there watching them talk.
"Kanema" Yuki said "I want to know something." Kanema looked at her with interest.
"What do you want to know?" kanema asked her. He kept his attention on her.
"Did...did you have something to do with my past?" She studdered "Tell me" Yuki had her hand clasped near her chest.
Kaname looked her as if he was sad. "I want to protect you yuki" kanema said "and the only way i can do that is if you be my lover"
"What..." yuki trailed off and everything went blurry and she began to fall. Kanema extended his arms and caught her as she fainted. He hugged her close and didnt let her go.
"zero" Kanema said looking at zero who was standing there enraged. "you dont have to protect Yuki no more" zero's eyes widened as kanema said that. "she has agreed to be my lover."

Yuki woke up on a couch in the night class dorms. "Where am i" she said sitting up rubbing her eyes. She looked around her room and saw kanema standing near the window. "Kanema" she got up from the chair and walked over to him. "how did I get here?" she asked him.
"i brought you here and now it is time for you to go back to your dorm." Kanema said and then took her hand and then took her back to the sun dorms. "Have a good day and i will see you tonight."
"kanema..." yuki stopped "never mind" Kanema walked off and then yuki looked at the the sky and noticed a black hawk flying in the sky.
