One night in NYC Drew is giving his and Rory's daughter Charlie a bath when Rory walks into the bathroom wearing really cute jeans and a reallt cute,comfy, and warm sweater.
"hey need any help?" she offers
"nah were good." he tells her
"okay." she says
"so what time is Jess getting here?" he wonders
"um he should be here anytime now why?" she wonders
"just wondering." he tells her
"oh, okay." she says and smiles at him watching him wash Charlie's hair
"so what are you guys doing tonight?" he wonders
"um Ice Skating in Central Park then maybe going to get a coffee and listen to some music at Starbucks or something." she tells him
"oh." he says and just nods
"je...jelous?" she mumbles
"What...of you going on a date? No." he tells her but he really is and just pours some water over Charlie's head to get the shampoo out
Charlie opens her eyes "Momma." Charlie says
"hey baby girl, having fun with daddy in the tub?" Rory wonders
"Momma." Charlie says again lifting her yellow plastic duck out to her
"sweetie mommy doesn't feel like getting wet right now, but daddy will play with you." Rory tells her and smiles watching Logan and her bond.
"so what time will you be home?" he wonders
"I don't know why?" she wonders with a snap
"just wanted to know." he tells her
"why does it matter tomorrow is Saturday and you don't have an early day." she tells him
Drew just looks at her because she gave him a bit of attitude.
"I just wanted to know Rory geeze." he tells her madly trying not to scare Charlie
Rory just rolls her eyes and walks out of the bathroom kind of upset because she misses him a lot and is still kind of emotional that he is there.
Drew lets Charlie play a little bit more in the tub for a while.
