Episode 1: "Travelling To A New World"
He stared at it. How could his son have one? Only him and his other five friends USED to have them. But somehow, someway, Garrett Himi, Tomoki's son, got a D-Scanner.It was likely he thought. But did the other chosen one's kids get them too?
"Dad, your giving me them? Thanks I guess..." Garrett, age 14, said to his Father as two ice spirits were sent into Garrett's newly formed D-scanner. "Wait till Lindsey see's this! She'll be SO impressed!" He said, running out the door and going about 5 feet till he got next door. He knocked and Lindsey's mother came to the door. "Oh hi Garrett! Lindsey is coming soon, she hasn't finished eating yet. How's your Father doing?" the woman asked. "Good, How are you doing, Mrs.Kimura?" he said politely. "Oh call me Izumi. I'm great. Kouichi's alright too. Oh heres Lindsey now. Bye!" She said as Lindsey came round back, greeting Garrett. "Look what I have!" Garrett said, showing her his D-Scanner. "Oh wow! You have a different one! Mines Purple and Black and has the Wind spirits!" she said excitedly. "Thats awesome! I have the Ice spirits! Lets go see Blaze, maybe the three of us can find a Trailmon to the digital world! Like my dad and his friends!" Garrett joked. "Hey wait a minute, Blaze is Mr.Shibayama's son.... meaning Blaze might have one too! And his Father has the Thunder spirits! Lets go!" Lindsey said as the two set off to find Blaze.
"Yes! I get the Thunder spirits! This is great! Wait till Garrett hears this! He'll be so jealous!" Blaze laughed as Junpei Shibayama transfered the spirits into his sons D-Scanner. Junpei walked off as the phone rang. Suddenly, as Blaze was on his computer, it flashed and a small picture of a Ophanimon appeared. Then the door opened. "Sorry to barge in Blaze, but we got news for you!" Lindsey said as her and Garrett ran inside. "Me too... first of all look at this." he said, pointing to the screen. "It says she wants us to join two kids in the......" Garrett couldn't finish his sentence. "In the digital world. Yes, I knew this would come. You guys are going on an adventure like me and my other 5 friends did. There on there way over, all of them, and you will meet the two kids here, Ophanimon sometimes has a mix up with her words," Junpei said laughing. "Bokomon and Neemon will greet you guys in the digiworld." Junpei said finally.
"Ok, now that your all here, Blaze,Lindsey and Garrett, meet Mayko Minamoto and Rico Kanbara!" Kouichi said to them. The shook hands and went to there parents for gifts. "Rico, I, Takuya your Father, give you my hat and goggles for your adventure!" Takuya said, opening a box with his old hat and goggles in it. "Thanks pop," he said putting the hat on. "Lindsey, me and your mother think you should have this," Kouichi said handing over a box. Inside was Izumi's old hat, and Kouichi's old shirt. "Thanks mom, dad.." Lindsey said as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Here Blaze, I don't have a hat to give you but I give you this." Junpei said handing over a small box. "It's Bokomon's old book he gave to me before we left the digital world, I want you to be the new digi-dex!' Junpei said happily. "Thanks Jumbo Dad!" Blaze said laughing, not trying to be rude. "Mayko, I give you my bandana and something very special to me." Kouji said. He then handed her his coat. "Its very special to me, and maybe you too." He said to Mayko. "Hai Father, I will treat it well," she said calmly. "Lastly, Garrett you get the only thing I really cared about.... MY HAT!" he said, handing over the giant hat. "Thank you Father," he said quietly. "Its time to go now..." Izumi said crying. They all hugged as the kids vanished through a portal. "My, how times change!" Kouji said looking at where the portal was. "There just like we were..." Tomoki said quietly. The parents walked off, together.
