For Sassy Aloo, using three of her words. Thank you and I hope that you know who gets what's coming to her.

Morning After

Riku leaned in the doorway, a light smile on his face that less than a month ago he never would have believed himself capable of. Everything had completely changed in ways he never imagined. While many of those changes were not positive, there was one that made up for all of the negatives.

Who would have imagined he'd find the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with during the worst time of it?

"What are you smiling at?"

Riku shook his head a little. He didn't bother answering and continued watching Cloud attempt to smooth out his whacked out hair. Yes, it really did stick out in all directions on it's own but Cloud tried to give it some semblance of order through the liberal use of hair gel.

Those crystal blue eyes steadily looked at him in the mirror, flicking between Riku and his own blonde hair. They shone so incredibly brightly, as if they simply could not contain the light buried within the man who possessed them.

No longer content to watch, Riku stepped forward. He stopped beside his newly consummated lover at flicked a limp shock of hair from before those blue eyes. His other hand trailed fingers down Cloud's back, lingering near the loosely wrapped towel around his waist.

Cloud barely reacted, continuing with his hair.

"Do you have any idea how gorgeous you are?"

One blonde eyebrow quirked at this.

Riku tightened both arms around that narrow waist, pressing his lips to the skin between shoulder blades. Last night had been pure bliss and he wanted nothing more than to drag Cloud back to bed and spend the rest of the day there. Alas, they both had places they needed to be.

Cloud finally gave up and turned within Riku's arms. The strong scent of strawberry shampoo filled Riku's nostrils. He never much cared for anything strawberry but he suddenly found it quite… appetizing.

The blonde smirked. "Look who's talking."

Riku bit his lip. He was nothing to look at compared to Cloud but he knew better to than to start that debate again. It would only waste the little time they had left.

He rested his head to Cloud's chest and that grip on his waist tightened. "Do we really have to go back?"

Cloud sighed but said nothing. He reached up and stroked the younger one's silver hair. He hated this as much as the other but they both knew it was necessary. At least for now.

His kissed the top of his head in answer.

Riku pulled a bit away. He turned his face up and stared into those oh so blue eyes. "I love you."

Cloud gave him that small smile that made him melt. He dipped in and captured soft lips. It quickly grew in depth and intensity. He suddenly drew back and tugged Riku's arm.

Riku chuckled. "I thought we had to leave."

"We've got an hour."
